DuluxGroup was founded in 1918, with initial specialisation in decorative paint for Australian and New Zealand homes. Now it has become a household name for premium branded products that protect, maintain and enhance the spaces and places in which people live and work. DuluxGroup supplies to a wide range of retail and trade distribution channels. Their products are sold through more than 5,000 retail outlets and 230 trade distribution outlets, including more than 70 Dulux Trade Centres throughout Australia and New Zealand. Currently, they have an estimated sales revenue of $1.84 Billion in 2018. DuluxGroup employs approximately 4,000 people worldwide. Globally DuluxGroup is owned by Akzonobel except in a few countries.

DuluxGroup Engagement summary

FAIR Consulting Group engaged with DuluxGroup to support a number of projects.  We worked to help define the current landscape analyse the As-Is Solution architecture and help with the integration needs. Specifically, during our engagement, we focused on the integration points of SAP Hybris Commerce and Adobe Experience Manager to the SAP CRM and ERP backend systems.  Our goal was to support the consumers and traders focused on the New Zealand website and e-commerce portal.

FAIR Consulting Group was asked to support Duluxgroup NZ end to end transformation. We worked on the End to End delivery of Hybris Commerce B2C with Adobe Experience Manager Front End. We worked to help integrate these systems to the existing SAP CRM and SAP ERP for Dulux NZ.

FAIR Consulting Group worked on developing various microservices on Microsoft Azure platform, consumed by Hybris Commerce.
